David Marquet graduated at the top of his class from the Naval Academy. After serving aboard submarines in the Atlantic and the Pacific, Captain Marquet finally earned something many officers dream of - his own command. Marquet was handed the keys to one of the finest boats in America's fleet - the fast attack submarine, USS Santa Fe. Stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, this was a great honor indeed.
